Beautiful Mitzvahs

I don’t really talk about it a lot, but I shoot tons of Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Most of my weekends are filled with shooting events. I work with very talented people. This Bat Mitzvah was absolutely beautiful. Marcy and her team at Great Events in Northbrook put this Mitzvah on. They ALWAYS do such a phenomenal job. From the flowers to the tables to the lighting, Marcy and her gang never miss a detail. My fellow photog and friend, Maggie Rife helped me out on this one. We had such a great time. This is the sweetest family. “S”, my Mitzvah girl, is as kind as she is beautiful. We met a year ago and instantly clicked. Mom and Dad could have gone with a larger studio, but they chose me. I’m honored. I love my job.

Update

Hello all!

You might have noticed that I’ve been missing in action for quite sometime but I’m back and ready to post! I’ve had a very eventful season that I am so thankful for, but due to losing my lovely assistant to a beautiful pregnancy I haven’t had much time to get this blog going again. I’m just going to post some pictures from the eventful summer that I had and hope you enjoy. I’m going to try to post regularly and get caught up.

Yearly Fun

Every year I have the privilege of capturing images of these 3 beauties. Their mom was pregnant with “Little B” at the same time I was pregnant with my second child. So I’ve been shooting these kids since “Little B” was 1. She was the first kid I used on my business cards. I love these kids so much. We have the best time every time we shoot. We laugh and joke hysterically and talk about America’s Next Top Model. I can’t believe they’ve gotten so big. “E” is a teenager now. Watching them grow is like watching my own children grow. I have the greatest job ever. I thank God everyday. I get to be a part of something amazing everyday. Here they are. Enjoy!

Studio Fun

Hello All,

Here are two beautiful little models that I’ve shot before. My wonderful friend Lisa Sciascia, of Sciascia Photography, called me and asked me to shoot photos of her kids. I love shooting them. It’s so hard to shoot your own kids. They cooperate with other photographers more. So guess who’s shooting my kids? That would be Lisa! These kids are funny as well as beautiful. They had me laughing all night. Her daughter, the beautiful Miss M, has the most gorgeous face. She is a stunner. Little N, her son, has the greatest personality and beautiful, curly hair. We shot this in my studio. Chicago is the greatest city in the world, but it’s so #*!# cold. So I’ve been shooting in my studio more. We had blast!
