Kids are always so much fun to shoot. Most times they’re not paying attention to the camera. If I play with them, and find out what’s on their mind, they warm up to me. Photographing a child model is a little different. It doesn’t take much coaxing to get to them to warm up. They’re already warm. Usually when you show up, they are more than ready to talk to you. As a matter of fact, they want to entertain you. They make you laugh hysterically. The two children my post is about, are child models. They are so funny. We had a blast. I’m normally the one making everyone laugh. But these two turned the tables. Their mom is a very famous commercial photographer. She’s shot Diddy, McDreamy(Patrick Dempsey) and countless others. She’s published in Jezebel, InStyle, you name it. If you’ve thumb through a magazine, you’ve probably seen her work. Imagine how I felt when she asked me to shoot her kids! I was so flattered. These kids have so much personality. It was a pleasure. Thank you Lisa!
