I have been shooting these girls since they were small. The youngest one used to call me Mrs. Son yon yon because she couldn’t pronounce Mrs. Sonya. Now that she’s older she says my name correctly and I miss the way she used to say it! 🙁 These girls are so much fun to shoot and be around… Can’t believe how time flies and how fast they grow up! Enjoy!!

Shooting in the fall is always fun for me! The colors of the leaves in the trees are so beautiful and make for an amazing back drop! I love shooting outside, natural light is my best friend!!! The kids and I had an instant connection on this shoot… They really worked the camera and we all had a great time together!

I have worked with the Tillman family a lot over the last three years. I attended their event at Morton’s Steakhouse a couple of weeks ago and had a blast!!! It was one of the best events I have ever attended!!! There were over 200 people in attendance and boy was it a great crowd! Peanut had 14 of his team mates there and they really worked the room by serving dinner, signing autographs and mingling. The Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation raises money for families with critically and chronically ill children. I was honored to attend this event and get some great shots while there!!! I think these pictures show how well the night went…

All you photogs out there who have children know how hard it is to shoot your own child, and this was no exception. My clients usually take my advice about location, clothing, makeup, hair, etc. But when its your own child its a little different and they think THEY know whats best. The session started out a little rocky, but I decided to let my daughter do her own thing and I’m so glad I did. This year she is a senior, and I can’t believe time has passed so quickly. She has already committed to a college, and she’ll be leaving next year in June. I’m not sure what I feel. I’m happy and sad all at the same time. I’m so proud of her! But I must admit, I’ll be sad to see her go. She amazes me everyday. She’s smart, funny, athletic, beautiful and she has a heart of gold. She sets her mind to something, and she does it. I have no doubt, success is in her future. She is blessed. Here are her senior portraits…This is my girl.

Wow Judy… I can’t believe how fast the time has passed! Taylor is absolutely Beautiful and looks so much like you! I know how difficult it will be when she leaves but you have done a fabulous job in raising her and she will be just fine! I know how proud you must be of her and of all of her accomplishments.
