Such a “Sweet” Family

I just love Chicago!  You know why?  Here’s one reason…. can you say, “Blackhawks“?!  Yep, that’s right…I’ve  had the good fortune of shooting a few of the Blackhawks before they became World Champions!!!!  YEAH!  Anyway, I was at a signing for Blackhawks Champion, Cristobal Huet, when I met my new client.

We will call them the –>  “Sweet” family.  Mr. and Mrs. Sweet have three very handsome and active boys.  I don’t know where these boys get all their energy from.  Ahhh!  Can we say, pixie stick?! <– You’ll see what I mean.  I tell you, Mrs. Sweet surely has her hands full!  During the shoot, the boys kept running here, there and everywhere….  I should have worn my running shoes to be able to keep up!  Whew!

Overall, it was a very beautiful day at the shoot with the “Sweet” family, can’t you tell?  Hope you enjoy the wonderful photos below.

Narnia

...and they lived happily ever after...

Wedding time is here!  One of my favorite events to shoot — weddings.  I love everything about it…from the flowers, the church, the clothes, the people….  I especially love the moment when the bride and groom stare into each other’s eyes and  express their vows and then they seal it with a kiss.  Ahh, such is {LOVE}.  I guess you can call me a closet romantic.

Let me tell you about this past wedding I did in Lemont, IL.  This place was so magical it was breathtaking.  What tugged at my heart strings the most was when the father of the bride took the stand to make a speech.  He brought us back to his daughter’s childhood of when he used to read her stories at night.  He talked about how happy he was that she was getting married at a place called “Narnia”, the same book he used to read to her when she was a little girl.  Now his little girl is all grown-up.  It was at this point, that a tear roll down my cheek.

Volleyball Girls Are Beautiful 4

Here is another addition to my “Volleyball Girls Are Beautiful” series. This DS (defensive specialist) had a fantastic year! The entire team did fantastic! Everyone who knows me knows I was a hair colorist before I started my love affair with photography. Out of all of the colors red was my absolute favorite to do. This girl has amazing red hair, and hello can it be any thicker?  She was sooo cute during her photo shoot. Someone’s obviously been watching America’s Next Top Model, she was totally into character. I love this girl!!!  So here’s the beautiful “Miss M”.

Volleyball Girls Are Beautiful 3

Here’s another addition to my “Volleyball Girls are Beautiful” series. This little beauty (Who I call “V”), is a phenomenal defensive player.  “V” was a huge asset to our team and is one of the reasons we made it as far as we did. This volleyball beauty is an awesome defensive player.

Well “V” was a blast to shoot; she has a quiet, sweet spirit with a little bit of quirkiness mixed in (so cute)!  All the girls on the team absolutely love her and I can see why. What’s not to love? So here’s another beautiful volleyball girl. Go “V”!
